Fix a Slice: Suggestion 1
There are many factors to consider that could be causing you to slice the golf ball. However, by far the most common is how you address the ball in the fist place.
It’s crucial that you get this right….
Your whole body needs to be positioned inline with the target, whether this is the flag, green or some point on the fairway you need to be correctly aligned for this to work.
The shoulder on your left arm must point directly at the target. This is not hard to achieve, but get it wrong, and you’ll end up over compensating at some point during your swing, and will likely end up slicing the golf ball hard.

Before you take your stance and address the ball, take a quick look at your grip. To ensure you are holding the golf club correctly there is a simple rule you can use.
When holding your club look at your left hand, you should be able to see at least 2 knuckles, maybe 3 depending on your grip. If you can’t, take a moment to readjust.
This may just be the reason you’re slicing the golf ball in the first place…
However, you must also remember not to hold the golf club too tight. Doing so will cause your upper body to become extremely rigid, which will have a detrimental affect on your golf swing. Conversely, grasping the club too loosely will likely end up with a poor shot too, as control of the golf club will be comprised due to lack of grip.

Another common factor that can heavily influence whether or not your swing with result in the golf ball veering off violently to the right is a limited hip turn.
In order for a clean, powerful, straight strike your swing must allow your hips to turn as much as possible. This will cause the down-swing of the club to strike the golf ball full-on, and thereby greatly reduce the potential of a hook or slice. By practicing and finishing your swing high, you will develop muscle-memory that will ensure a clean, straight strike every time.

Another great golf tip to combat you slicing the golf ball is to actually slow down your swing. It’s a common misconception in golf that inexperienced golfers try to hit the ball as hard as possible at all costs. This approach invariably will end in a poor shoot and often a slice.
Remember, it’s a golf swing, not a golf smash!
Try slowing down you swing a notch. This will ensure the club face remains open at strike-point resulting in a straight shot.

This tip is a given, but surprisingly so many golfers get it wrong. It is imperative no matter what club you are using, or shot you’re playing, that your head remains down until you have hit the ball and your swing has completed.
